Corfield Hall, Taunton, March 1^st 1952, and Bridgwater Town Hall, March 22^nd 1952, where it reached the final of the County Drama Festival. There were 34 entries in the Festival that year, the preliminary rounds of which were held over nine days. The Producer took the part of Lydia in the final, due to Miss Marfell’s indisposition, at very short notice. It won and went on to the Divisional Final at St Andrew’s Hall, Taunton, on 18^th April, with Miss Taylor continuing in the role.
